Online booking
Directgov is the only official booking site on the web. If you use it you won’t be charged an extra booking fee – you’ll only pay the cost of the test.

DSA’s range of ‘find your nearest’ services has moved to Directgov.
This includes your nearest theory and practical test centres.

You need to be extremely careful about which website you should use to book your theory test.
THERE ARE SOME WEBSITES WHICH WILL CHARGE YOU A BOOKING FEE THAT YOU DO NOT NEED TO PAY.
THE THEORY TEST SHOULD ONLY COST YOU £31 AND THE PRACTICAL TEST SHOULD ONLY COST YOU £62 ON A WEEKDAY OR £75 ON AN EVENING OR WEEKEND. IF IT COSTS YOU ANY MORE THAN THIS YOU ARE BEING RIPPED OFF.
MY ADVICE IS TO USE THE DIRECTGOV WEBSITE AND NO OTHER.
